Human Resources Business Partner - Bridgwater - Circa: £55,000

Well Placed HR are delighted to have formed an exclusively preferred supply agreement with a new client, a rapidly expanding and highly successful manufacturing business. The company has an outstanding reputation for staff retention and are highly regarded for their employee development. They now seek to recruit an exceptional HR Business Partner, a position of pivotal importance that works within an extremely experienced and energetic people management team. This is a full time, permanent position based at the company’s Bridgwater site.

Contributing at an operational level, the successful candidate will join a small HRM team and take full management of a specific area of the business. The key focus of this role is to nurture and develop colleagues, ensuring that those that want to progress - do. The role works to improve people management strategy and develop the function through projects and improvements, ultimately creating a culture that is as close as possible to an employee utopia! In this role, the HR BP will play an active role in developing and promoting:

- Colleague support and employee relations

- All aspects of performance management

- A superb recruitment and resourcing strategy

- An efficient and modern program of training and development

- A culture where employees are engaged

- The provision of management information

- The delivery of ongoing projects

- High quality statutory compliance

We’re looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of recently gained people management experience gained at either BP, manager, or advisor level and with up to date knowledge of all aspects of human resources, employment law and general HR policy. Ideally, you’ll be qualified to CIPD level 7 although candidates currently operating at or studying towards CIPD level 5 will be given strong consideration. Those with previous experience within a blue collar environment will be particularly desirable. Just as important as technical capacity will be team fit. This is an engaged, passionate function that have a genuine desire to ensure exceptional workforce support and as such it will be important that an incoming candidate recognises the values that the organisation stand for.
