The roleThe role will be fast paced, to include a wide range of technology and will include some customer facing work. As an IT Support Engineer, youll play a crucial role as part of their Front Office Triage and Instant Support team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their issues are promptly addressed. Collaboration with the engineering team is essential to resolve tickets quickly and maintain high quality service. You will be part of the team entrusted with the responsibility of proactively understanding and addressing issues, performing triage of calls, and executing efficient escalation processes. Your role extends to closing tickets without the need for escalation, showcasing your commitment to resolving challenges promptly and independently. F/T hours - 100% site based (Monday to Friday) Salary up to GBP28000 DOE + benefits About youOur client is keen to work with someone who has a keen interest in computer hardware. undertaking light builds and simple repairs of computers and server equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. A customer-centric approach with a genuine interest in helping end-users and ensuring their satisfaction An understanding of computer hardware particularly desktop/laptop PCs. As well as some knowledge of business software applications, and networking fundamentals While not mandatory, certifications such as MS900, Network +, CompTIA + or ITIL Foundation will be beneficial.
