Job Summary
We are seeking hardworking, reliable Waste Operatives to join our clients ever growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the recycling process, ensuring that materials are sorted, processed, and prepared for reuse. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, as well as a commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and separate recyclable materials such as paper, plastics, metals, and glass from general waste.
  • Operate machinery used in the recycling process, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure personal safety and that of colleagues.
