Sonic Summary

Mactech is seeking Mechanical Fitters for long-term opportunities at Hinkley Point C, starting from October 2023 until Spring 2025.
Candidates will be required to undergo vetting and onboarding before starting work.
Compensation is based on the ECSA site agreement with a basic rate of £27.12, overtime rates of £37.97 (OT1) and £48.82 (OT2), and potential bonuses of up to £2.72.
A suitable candidate must have at least Level 3 NVQ, ACE, Apprenticeship, or City & Guilds certification, along with a CCNSG Safety Passport.
Additional benefits include a lodge allowance of £48.16 per day, return rail fare for periodic travel, a daily travel allowance, 25 days of holidays plus public holidays, and a pension.

Mactech require Mechanical Fitters for multiple clients as mechanical scopes progress at HPC.

Various start dates from October through until Spring 2025, subject to vetting and onboarding.

Rates are in line with the ECSA site agreement (Advanced Craft 5) on a PAYE basis as follows:

Basic £27.12
OT1 £37.97
OT2 £48.82
Bonus Up to £2.72
Lodge Allowance: £48.16 per day
Periodic Travel: Return Rail Fare & Travel Time
Daily Travel Allowance: Radius and/or Bus Fare

Holidays: 25 days plus publics
