Commercial Property Solicitor (Locum)

Our client, a well-established regional law firm with multiple offices, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor for a locum role in their Bridgwater/Taunton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to contribute to the firm's commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice and support to their clients.

The position is a locum role starting ASAP on an ongoing basis (estimated 2 - 4 months) to help cover a recruitment gap, whilst a new permanent candidate is sought. Full or part time hours considered with hybrid remote working available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of commercial property matters, ensuring compliance with legal standards and maintaining professional integrity. The role will involve working closely with clients and colleagues to provide expert legal advice and support.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases and related documents

• Handle commercial mortgages, deeds of easements, and overage agreements

• Manage the sale and purchase of commercial premises

• Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service to clients

• Maintain clear and concise written communications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or qualified by experience

• Minimum 5 years'PQE in commercial property law

• Strong IT, client care, and communication skills

• Immediately available for an ongoing interim role

• Ability to work in an office environment at least part-time

• Competitive hourly rate of £45 - £55 per hour
