Partner - Non-Contentious Construction Location: Flexible The Vacancy:A leading Legal 100 firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a Partner to join their non-contentious Construction team. This role can be based in either the Southwest or London, with flexible location options. The successful candidate will focus on client development and work collaboratively within the department to expand and grow the business. A key part of the role will be delivering exceptional client service while also supporting the Head of Construction and the wider Real Estate team in driving forward the firm's Business Plan. The Role: 
  • Consistently deliver results on individual cases, ensuring efficiency and profitability, while effectively assigning tasks and overseeing the performance of junior colleagues, particularly in terms of case management and tracking billable hours. 
  • Serve as the lead lawyer on the most complex cases, recognised as a subject-matter expert within your field or industry. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and/or referral sources by consistently surpassing service expectations, and where relevant, assist partners with the management and growth of major client accounts. 
  • Implement a client feedback system, using insights to make informed improvements. 
  • Grow your practice area by exploring new sectors or markets or increasing your presence within your existing market. 
  • Take charge of creating thought leadership materials based on legal developments, industry trends, or other significant information to generate new business prospects. 
  • Oversee and manage the team’s work to meet both financial and non-financial targets, utilising performance data to assess individual and team progress. 
You: 
  • Over 8 years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier national or regional firm 
  • Expertise in handling all aspects of non-contentious construction work 
  • Strong ambition to expand and develop the team 
  • Proactive approach to business development and client growth
