Job: Senior Site Manager

Location: Southwest (Bristol, Bridgwater, Taunton)

Salary: Up to 75k + Package

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager who has experience on residential builds and who is hungry to further develop their career.

As the Senior Site Manager, you will:

  • Ensure compliance on site
  • Be the number 1 on site
  • Report to a visiting Contracts Manager
  • Coordinate labour and resources on site
  • Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock
  • Ensure that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality
  • Undertake company directed quality control procedures and inspections
  • Monitor and controlling the cost of production
  • Initiate and attend plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector
  • Carry out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings
  • Liaise proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved
  • Deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times

Key Criteria:

  • CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certificate
  • BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar
  • Minimum 5 years as a Site Manager
  • Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
  • Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
  • Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
