A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team on an exciting, large-scale project in Bridgewater, Somerset. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems on site.
Ensure all mechanical works are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across all mechanical aspects of the project.

Oversee and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including:

Clean rooms
Pre-fab modular installations
Sprinkler systems
Building Management Systems (BMS)
EVLS (Electrical/Mechanical Valve Lockout Stations)

Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical engineering within large-scale construction projects.
Hands-on knowledge of the systems listed above.
Full UK driving license is required due to site location (on-site parking provided).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as needed.
