A leading Tier 1 contractor is looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team on an exciting, large-scale project in Bridgewater, Somerset. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems on site.
  • Ensure all mechanical works are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across all mechanical aspects of the project.

Oversee and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including:

  • Clean rooms

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • EVLS (Electrical/Mechanical Valve Lockout Stations)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering within large-scale construction projects.

  • Full UK driving license is required due to site location (on-site parking provided).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
