This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:

This role is for a Mechanical Engineer -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Maintenance and development of the pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements.
  • Manage the pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements.
  • Maintain personnel SQEP status to support nuclear baseline requirements.
  • Organise the delivery of the technical files by the different stakeholders in line with Pressure Regulations.
The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

  • Education to a Degree level in a related Engineering or Science based discipline.
  • Chartered Member of an appropriate professional institution would be a plus (IMeche Preferred), or capable of being chartered.
  • Relevant Experience in large-scale project or asset management within a highly regulated industry sector such as Power Generation, Nuclear Industry or Oil &Gas / Petro-Chemical.
  • Relevant experiences in relation to the engineering topics associated with pressure systems manufacture, installation, structural integrity and conformity assessment.
