Vacancy Overview:

Sizewell C (SZC) is a proposed new nuclear station that is being developed to secure a low-carbon energy future. It is a large infrastructure project with a very important role in the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. The project will have a big impact in the drive to reduce carbon emissions in the UK.

The role of a Process Analyst at SZC, will have primary responsibility for developing and refining procedures for the Sizewell C (SZC) project. This encompasses creating new procedures, updating, or retiring existing ones, and ensuring adherence to SZC procedure standards within a highly regulated environment. This requires effective management of the procedure work pipeline utilising excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives and coordinate activities across teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on procedure development and documentation, maintaining high-quality standards and compliance
  • Manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation, including creation, updates, and maintenance of procedures and records
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of processes
  • Support strategic planning and reporting through data management and system utilisation
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation within Electronic Document Management Systems

Experience Required

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience in highly regulated industries, with nuclear industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record in process management and improvement, including LEAN Six Sigma methodology and business process modeling
  • Strong technical proficiency in process modeling tools (Visio required, experience with PowerBI, Orbus iServer, or similar tools beneficial)
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to present effectively at all organisational levels
  • Experience with object-oriented environments and ability to quickly adapt to complex technical systems

Salary and Location

  • £360 PAYE- £490 UMBRELLA per day
