Senior Product Development Engineer / NPI Engineer- Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for someone to take on a 50/50 role - Hands on leading from the front and managing a small team
- Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of Product Engineers, ensuring alignment with KPIs and business objectives.
- Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of product engineering tools, working practices, and project databases.
- Respond to engineering enquiries, produce manufacturing print sets, and support new product/process development in line with the business plan.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external customers, presenting project outcomes and supporting technical training.
Senior Product Development Engineer / NPI Engineer- Essential Requirements/Experience:
- Proven experience / An interest in leading engineering teams and working within cross-functional project environments
- Strong engineering / manufacturing background
- Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office, with a strong ability to balance design, manufacturing, quality, and cost considerations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and resourceful attitude.
Senior Product Development Engineer / NPI Engineer- Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary circa £40K-£50K per annum
