We are currently working with a Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a three-month temporary contract

They are looking for someone who can start in January, and can offer hybrid working (1-2 days in office in Bridgwater) and an hourly rate of £24-£27 per hour.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting, mentoring and guiding the business on all aspects of the HR and people development to ensure the implementation of best practice policies and procedures
  • Managing all employee relations and absence issues, such as grievances, disciplinary actions and performance management, including conducting investigations
  • Identifying staffing needs and helping develop the organisational structure and the creation of job descriptions to support future growth
  • Ensuring best practice is followed in recruitment and selection and onboarding and induction activities
  • Helping with the creation of training and induction plans whilst supporting the tuning of an LMS system

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • Good oral and written communications.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • 8:30am - 5pm, Mon to Fri
  • 1-2 days in officer per week
