Responsibilities and duties
As a Lead Site Engineer you will:
- Manage a team of engineers and coordinate their tasks.
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods.
- Assist with project planning, methodology, and creating documents like RAMS.
- Provide technical solutions for any issues that arise.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Collaborate with management and teams on production schedules and
capabilities.
- Specify materials, manufacturing methods, and necessary tools or equipment.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical HNC/ONC qualification.
- Proven track record in stainless steel fabrication and welding projects.
- Competence in managing timescales, budgets, and a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong communication skills, ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Salary and benefits of the Lead Site Engineer role
- 42.71 an hour (84,394 per annum)
- Contracted to a minimum of 38 hours per week, with overtime available.
- Opportunity to work on a 10 on/4 off rotation or 5/2 schedule.
- Accommodation allowance of 38 per night.
- Mileage covered for the first and last day of the trip.
