The Role:
As a Production Supervisor you will manage a team of operatives within a machine build environment. You will deal with any issues from disciplinaries, shift rotas, appraisals, training schedules and upskilling staff. All people management issues will come under your remit so a strong ability to manage a team of people is essential. A background within plastics or FMCG manufacturing is also ideal
- Shift leadership of a team of 10.
- Participate in compliance audits supporting the maintenance of external accreditations.
- Contribute to creating and implementing a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Manufacturing activities.

Undertake continuous training and development
The candidate:
- Production Supervisory/Team Leader experience
- Experience working within FMCG manufacturing, ideally plastics
- Other manufacturing experience considered
- Strong people management experience
- Happy working a rotating shift pattern
- Six Sigma understanding or similar ideal
- Proven man management qualification ideal
- 5 S experience (ideal)
