Job description

Bespoke Guardians are seeking staff for roles supporting children. This is a an occupational requirement due to the nature of the role and the specific requirements of the children being supported. Supporting vulnerable and complex children/young adults in a range of locations - in and out of their home.

Current locations covered are West Sussex, East Sussex, North Somerset and South Somerset.

About the job role as a Support Worker:

As a Support Worker, you will be key in helping our young people with everyday living. The Young persons have experienced significant abuse and trauma in their early lives. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care. Your ambition for the people you supports will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.

  • Being empathetic towards everyone.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • A non-judgemental attitude regardless of a person’s needs.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.

  • Able to follow instruction & direction.
  • Full UK Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
  • Flexibility on travel.
  • Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be offered to the right candidates.
