Configuration Engineer

Location - Bridgwater

Salary - £market rate

Work Mode - Onsite (Flexibility for Hybrid as well)

Role - 12 Months Contract)

As a Configuration Engineer, you will ensure contract configuration remains compliant with project requirements. This involves managing and resolving open points and design changes, overseeing technical aspects of contracts, and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain technical integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage configuration control and design evolution of contracts
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless equipment integration
  • Lead technical meetings and oversee issue resolution
  • Conduct technical surveillance and review documentation
  • Assess and approve design changes, non-conformances, and exemptions
  • Evaluate and authorize contract amendments and exemptions
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of EPR or general PWR design
  • Knowledge of equipment interfaces, safety case considerations, and systems engineering
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems and configuration management tools
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a Scientific Discipline
Desirable Skills:
  • Fluency in French
  • Experience with change management, contract management, and deliverable tracking systems (e.g., UKDC, UKICM, OPM, CEMAR, Teamcenter)
