Job Title: Teaching and Learning Lecturer & CoachLocation: SomersetSalary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annumType: PermanentWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching and Learning Lecturer & Coach to join our team in Somerset in a permanent role. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver teacher training and development qualifications to internal staff and external learners as required.
  • Teach and assess a range of courses, including those related to teaching, assessing, and internal quality assurance, as dictated by curriculum needs.
  • Prepare and develop teaching materials, including schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, and other resources that support effective learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, both formative and summative.
  • Communicate relevant examination entry details and schedules to students.
  • Proactively contribute to the success and ongoing development of the department and the wider organisation.
  • Bring extensive experience in delivering teacher training and development qualifications and courses.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLs, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade A* to C or grade 4 and above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Knowledge and experience of a range of provision types and levels delivered within the FE sector.
  • Demonstrable professional knowledge of curriculum development and innovative delivery methods.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
