Warehouse Operative

We have fantastic opportunities for Warehouse Operators to work in our client's facility in Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 4AT. The purpose of this role is to assist with the effective and efficient picking of orders for internal and external customers, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and racking away stock from loading bays.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to materials handling, picking and packing, and maintaining the overall organisation of the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and warehouse management systems.

*Please note the warehouse is a Chilled environment and PPE is provided*

Pay & Shifts

• You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7
• 40 hours a week
• AM Shifts - 06.00-14.00 or 08.00-16.00
• PM Shifts - 14.00-22.00
• Pay Rates from - £11.44 per hour with overtime from £13.68 per hour after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative

• Picking and packing products for stores efficiently and accurately
• Scanning all items, taking them off the pallets and allocating each item accordingly within the warehouse
• Relocation of items using Pump Truck
• Managing Goods in and goods out
• Allocating stock and unloading/loading lorries

Essential requirements

• A reasonable level of written and verbal communication skills in English, so able to understand instructions and perform tasks
• Be able to work full-time hours
• No experience necessary
• *Drug Testing is required on Induction*
