UCO Van Driver

JHP Recruitment are currently looking for a UCO Van Drivers to work for our client at a busy distribution facility based in Bridlington. A valid Driving Licence is essential for this roles. These are temp-to-perm assignments where you will become permanent following a successful probationary period.

The primary responsibility of this role is to collect used cooking oil from various commercial establishments and transport it to our facility safely and efficiently. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment while enjoying a stable and rewarding career.

As a UCO Van Driver you will:

·Adhere to established schedules and routes

·Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.

·Ensuring you comply with all EU Drivers Rule legislation

·Involvement in business development to ensure full utilisation of the van

·Ensuring your collection vehicle is kept clean and tidy

·Maintain accurate records of collections, routes, and quantities collected in line with the company requirements.

·Ensure the proper handling and storage of collected oil to maintain its quality.

The Person

·A full clean Driving Licence is essential

·Previous experience as a van or truck driver is preferred.

·Responsible, dependable, and punctual.

·Ability to lift and move heavy containers of used cooking oil.

·A commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.

·Ability to work independently and responsibly.
