The Cyber Security Engineer is a crucial role responsible for safeguarding the organisation's information systems and networks. The successful candidate will develop and implement security measures, monitor system vulnerabilities and provide strategic advice on mitigating risks.

Description

  • Maintain and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organisation's security posture
  • Perform security configuration / change, including AD, firewalls, etc.
  • Monitor system vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
  • Deliver regular reports on security status and incidences to management
  • Conduct staff training on information security awareness and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Coordinate disaster recovery activities
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cyber security

Profile

  • A solid understanding of information security principles and practices
  • Candidates with infrastructure engineering background and has exposure in security will also be considered
  • Familiarity with cyber security risk management and incident response
  • Strong knowledge of technology infrastructures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
