Welder/Fabricator Required!
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm
Fridays 7am to 3.30pm
£15.00 to £16.40 per hour dependant on experience
Overtime availoble after 39 hours worked paid at Time and a Half
- Working under strict Health and Safety guidelines
- Welding various Mild steel and structural steel construction products including Modular steel framing
- Fabricating steel to the Building Trade and construction industry.
- Operating MIG welding eqiopment- from 5mm to 12mm, General metal fabrication, including operation of Guillotine/ Punch and other equipment.
- Cutting, repairing and assembling of girders, beams, columns, and other building components to form complete structures.
- Welding internal chassis.
Qualifications/Experience
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- 2 years fabrication experience
- Able to read complex Engineering drawings
