Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with an exciting, high end wellness resort in Bridport who are looking for a passionate and creative Breakfast Chef to join their growing kitchen team on a permanent full-time basis.

Please note: a driving license and vehicle is essential to be considered for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and running the breakfast service, delivering healthy and nutritious meals for the guests
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures
Working with home grown produce from the farm, as well as locally sourced ingredients
Assisting with preparations for the following services as required by Head & Sous Chef
Delivering an exceptional service for the guests

Package

Annual salary up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
Opportunities to achieve a 10% bonus with agreed KPI's
40 hour working week

What's involved?Our client is building a Luxury Wellness Resort spanning one hundred acres of working farmland in the picturesque location of Bridport, boasting their own vineyard, livestock, and wellness products.

As the Breakfast Chef, you will be integral to starting the guests days in the right way by delivering a healthy, nutritious meal using high welfare, home grown ingredients. The vast majority of produce will be seasonal and home grown, so this gives a unique opportunity to utilise what is on hand and to be creative with the food you produce.

As the Breakfast Chef you will be required to consider many options for the guests, ranging from a traditional fry up to vegan and vegetarian options; if you have ideas to create your own yogurt toppers to granola's, or anything you think will be a hit, you'll be given the opportunity to create these options with the Head & Sous Chefs and deliver a unique experience for the guests.

You will also be required to assist with the preparations for the day, working the other members of staff so they are prepared and ready to deliver an efficient service for lunch and evening meals. This role will suit an experienced Breakfast Chef who is looking for a fantastic work life balance, whilst having the opportunity to be creative and work with high quality produce.
