ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the warehouse and distribution.
The Role:
- Manage, develop, and lead a team of HGV drivers and drivers' mates to ensure standard continues to be delivered
- Define and implement standards and support the team through training
- Plan daily transport routes and staffing, delivering great customer service as well as maximising operational and commercial efficiency
- Deliver improvements from idea to implementation with effective project management
- Ensure timely resolution of any issues arising in areas such as health and safety and people management
- Foster a culture of safety by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or unsafe behaviours, ensuring a secure workplace for all
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics management, including managing a team and a fleet
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Full UK drivers licence and forklift licence (training can be organised)
- Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong analytical skills in relation to logistics planning
