Frontline Recruitment are seeking an experienced Welder to join one of our clients team. The role involves performing MIG and TIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly of metal components per engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will ensure quality and safety standards are met while collaborating with the team to improve processes.

Summary

As a Welder, you will be integral to the fabrication team, responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks using various techniques, including TIG and MIG welding. Your core skills in hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication will ensure precision and durability in your work. We expect you to uphold our quality management standards while contributing to a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding and sheet metal fabrication.
  • Assemble and fabricate metal components to specifications.
  • Operate and maintain power and hand tools safely.
  • Inspect welded components for quality assurance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in welding, including sheet metal work.
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (both preferred).
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand welding symbols.
  • Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with quality management systems.
  • Basic computer skills for digital work instructions.
