We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Brierley Hill. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong background in accounts and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Assistance: Support with payroll, end-of-year accounts, and general accounts processing.
  • Sales & Job Sheets: Handle sales invoicing, job sheets for production, and assist with overseeing the production process.
  • Purchasing: Manage purchasing duties and work closely with the production team to ensure timely deliveries and stock management.
  • System Management: Use Excel and Outlook to assist with office administration. Learn and adapt to the company’s accounting software, Profit 4 (similar to Sage), with training provided.
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance and ensure that office operations run smoothly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside senior staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time, demonstrating a "get things done" attitude.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Outlook and Excel is essential. Experience with Profit 4, Sage, or similar accounting software would be beneficial.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this role.
  • Proactive & Dynamic: The ability to take initiative and be a self-starter, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Adaptability: A willingness to learn new systems and processes as needed.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support the team.
