Senior Technician required to join a well-established Manufacturing company that is based in Brierly Hill are and specialise in Injection Moulding services and the flexibility to support any requirement from a single mould trial to multi-tooling projects and production supply.
Senior Technician Job Overview
- Injection moulding
- Work on new tooling projects for process optimisation and an understanding of Capability Studies and results analysis.
- Lead and train teams of operatives and temporary workers
- Planning of Tool Changes in the Mould Shop and undertaking production tool changes.
- Use of basic measurement skills, Vernier, Heigh Guage etc
Senior Technician Job Requirements
- Flexibility is key to the position
- IMT3 Qualified and experience of minimum 2 years as a senior technician.
- Computer literate, good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Able to problem solve and work off own initiative.
- Lead and train teams of operatives and temporary workers
- Good understanding off Tool Design and part gating, Hot runner, Valve Gating, sequenced Valve Gating.
- Understanding of Mould Flow Results would be an advantage, not a necessity.
- Planning of Tool Changes in the Mould Shop and undertaking production tool changes.
- Accurate and disciplined QA Documentation completion in line with production procedures of the QMS.
Senior Technician Salary & Benefits
- Full time - 37.5Hrs per week
- 2pm - 10pm shift
- 28 days Holiday
- Fixed Factory shutdowns Christmas, July/Aug, 8 Floating Days to take as chosen
- Salary £33,000 - £36,000
- Profit Bonus at Christmas based on performance
