Job Title:             CNC Miller Setter

Location:             Halesowen                        

Hours:                  Mon - Thurs 8.00am – 4.45pm

                            Fri 8.00am - 1.00pm

 

Pay Rate:             £16 p/hour

 

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter/Operator (Fanuc) for our client in Halesowen. They have a long history of supplying subcontract machining services into Industrial Sectors.

Over 25 years’ experience in machining and fabrication and with recent investment has seen the addition of 2 machining centres which has strengthened their ability to produce larger batch work at more competitive prices.

What’s the job?

  • Experienced CNC Miller – 3 axis
  • Programming is desirable.
  • Experience in small batch work and complex parts
  • Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Machining small batch – one off to hundred off
  • Machining steels, stainless steels, and aluminium (nothing too complex)
  • Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings – essential.

 

Who can do this?

  • Time Served Apprenticeship, with an appropriate craft or technical qualification. (preferable)
  • Provide a great level of attention to details and focus on the given task
  • Make a positive contribution to maintaining the workplace neat, tidy, healthy and safe
  • Be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions and keep commitments
