If you're passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and want to make a real difference in their lives, this could be the role for you!Our school is a vibrant, supportive place where every child is encouraged to succeed and grow. We focus on providing personalised learning for students, tailoring our approach to meet each individual's needs. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.What You'll Do:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Work with small groups or individual students, offering tailored support.
  • Support children with personal care needs when necessary.
  • Assist students with their social and emotional development.
  • Contribute to creating and implementing personalised learning plans.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in training to further develop your skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A patient, flexible, and calm approach when supporting students.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are a bonus, but not essential.
