MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.00 - 16.00

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join our well-established client based in Brierley Hill, WEST MIDLANDS on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

Prepare and submit detailed quotations for client projects
Evaluate supplier quotes to determine suitability and value
Assist with project planning, ensuring clear communication of requirements
Attend on-site meetings when necessary to support project success
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external customers
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Skills

Previous estimating experience within architectural metalwork, steelwork, or construction
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong organizational skills with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
IT literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Sound knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and risk management
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a motivated and committed attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and colleagues at all levels

Desirable Experience

CAD knowledge for enhanced project analysis
Relevant industry qualifications
