CAD Technician

CAD Technician (Steelwork/Architectural Metalwork) Dudley

Poolhall Recruitment is partnering with a client in Dudley to hire a CAD Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in steelwork or architectural metalwork to join a small growing team.

Salary: £30,000

Flexibility: The role offers fantastic flexibility with the option to work from home for two or three days a week. Our client fosters a culture of honesty and transparencyif the work is completed to a high standard, they are happy to accommodate flexible working hours.

In-Office Hours: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM (on-site in Brierley Hill as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Operations Manager and Managing Director
• Creating layout designs and detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor
• Producing accurate technical drawings for effective construction
• Interpreting and working from detailed technical specifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Strong ability to produce accurate drawings and read technical documents
