Mechanical Fitter

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter (x2)
Location:Dudley
Salary:£35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hours:7:15am - 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday) / Half-day finish on Fridays
Overtime:Paid at Time and a Half
Overseas Travel:Maximum 4 times per year

We are looking for two experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a leading engineering manufacturer specialising in bespoke machinery for Tier 1 Suppliers and OEMs.This is an exciting opportunity for aMechanical Fitterto work in a dynamic and growing business, providing cutting-edge engineering solutions for a variety of industries.

• As aMechanical Fitter, you will assemble, install, and maintain bespoke machinery for Tier 1 Suppliers and OEM clients.
• Work with complex pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality as part of your daily tasks as aMechanical Fitter.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics to complete installations and repairs as a skilledMechanical Fitter.
• Carry out precision mechanical fitting tasks, ensuring all components are correctly aligned, assembled, and tested, leveraging your expertise as aMechanical Fitter.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults as a proactive and solutions-focusedMechanical Fitter.
• Travel overseas as required (maximum of 4 trips per year) for installations, repairs, or customer support.

• Apprentice-trainedwith a solid understanding of mechanical fitting principles.
• Experience working withpneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility for occasional overseas travel (up to 4 times per year).
