Hours:7:15am - 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday) / Half-day finish on Fridays
Overtime:Paid at Time and a Half

We are looking for two experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a leading engineering manufacturer specialising in bespoke machinery for Tier 1 Suppliers and OEMs.This is an exciting opportunity for aMechanical Fitterto work in a dynamic and growing business, providing cutting-edge engineering solutions for a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

As aMechanical Fitter, you will assemble, install, and maintain bespoke machinery for Tier 1 Suppliers and OEM clients.
Work with complex pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality as part of your daily tasks as aMechanical Fitter.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics to complete installations and repairs as a skilledMechanical Fitter.
Carry out precision mechanical fitting tasks, ensuring all components are correctly aligned, assembled, and tested, leveraging your expertise as aMechanical Fitter.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults as a proactive and solutions-focusedMechanical Fitter.
Travel overseas as required (maximum of 4 trips per year) for installations, repairs, or customer support.

Ideal Candidate:

Apprentice-trainedwith a solid understanding of mechanical fitting principles.
Experience working withpneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility for occasional overseas travel (up to 4 times per year).
