Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for 2x experienced Injection Moulding Setters to join their successful team.

- This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mould Setter with good injection moulding machinery and processing knowledge to join a forward-thinking company
- Candidates MUST HAVE previous experience within setting, conditioning and process optimisation of injection moulding machines and experience with a range of materials
Role:
- Perform tooling and equipment changeovers in the most efficient and standard process to support the production plan.
- Try out parts after change over and submit to quality parts fit for purpose assuring that the process is set to the setting standard and process checks are all completed.
- Fully adhere to the life - saving safety rules with a clear focus on LOTO and working at heights during the set-up process.
- Carry out recognised planned maintenance tasks when required.
- Prepare tools and equipment for set up as required to reduce the equipment downtime.
- Prepare material for production runs.
- Start up and close-down injection moulding machines in line with manufacturer’s instructions to support the smooth running of the shift.
- Work as a team member of an organised cell unit and maintain full flexibility within the Plastics manufacturing area.
- Use initiative to promote continuous improvement, and work alongside technical team to implement.
- Maintain and promote a 5S culture.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.
Experience:
- Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing
- Qualified to IMT Level 2 standard would be desirable
- Experience with 3 axis robots, ideally Wittmann is an advantage
- Be proactive and have a hands on technical approach to tasks with good problem solving skills
- High level of literacy & numeracy
- Computer literate
- Flexible attitude to help maintain production when and where required
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills English oral & written.
