This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a background in underwriting, insurance, or broking to take on a key role within a thriving business, focusing on SME insurance products. The positions are available due to continued business growth.The Role:As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for negotiating new business terms, securing renewals, managing mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and providing exceptional service to brokers. You will play a vital role in managing risk, making informed decisions, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the business.Some Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite new business terms, secure renewals, and manage mid-term adjustments (MTAs) profitably and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, underwriting management, and other business lines to deliver company objectives.
Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate will be passionate about underwriting and insurance, with the following skills and experience:
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance.
