- We are looking to hire an ambitious, confident and determined Solicitor to join our Family Law team preferably with at least two years experience of dealing with family law cases, possess exceptional advocacy skills and have a working knowledge and understanding of Legal Aid. You will work closely with the Head of the Family Department and together build and develop the Department for the future.

You will be expected to run a caseload of predominantly family matters or matters closely linked to family work, including:
- Divorce and Dissolution
- Financial Remedy Proceedings
- Private and Public Children Act Proceedings
- TOLATA
- Wills
- LPAs
The role will include:
- Taking initial instructions and advising clients
- Assessing legal aid eligibility and submitting applications to the Legal Aid Agency when appropriate
- Preparing applications to the Court / using MyHMCTS
- Representing clients at Court Hearings
- Preparing Court Bundles
- Preparing Briefs to Counsel when necessary
- Providing initial free consultations to prospective clients
- Preparing Bills
- File management
Essential skills:

It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.15 pm. 20 days of holiday plus all Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown. Bonus Scheme and Pension Plan.
