A fantastic steel firm in the heart of the black country have tasked me with finding an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is well-established and the UK’s largest in their sector.
My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone with a heavy engineering background.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- Salary £36,000 (basic)

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- X3-shift rota (days, afternoons, nights).
- Installation work.
- Electrical fault finding.
- Follow CCT diagrams.
- PLC work (I/O).
- Keep maintenance logs.
- Planned and reactive maintenance.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Electrical engineering apprenticeship.
- 18th edition (preferred).
- Steel / Heavy engineering experience.
- Basic PLC knowledge.
- Previous experience as a plant maintenance engineer.
- Electrical fault finding.
- Must be local to site.
