Maintenance Manager

Our well established Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager with a background in Electrical or Mechanical engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and a proven track record of managing maintenance activities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the maintenance department, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize the CMMS to track maintenance activities, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage work orders.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, providing technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Train and develop maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance maintenance efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role, with a strong background in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Extensive experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CMRP) are a plus.
