Our school, located in Dudley, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team on a fixed term basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire pupils in year 2, aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Utilize assessment data to track pupil progress, provide targeted support, and ensure all learners make excellent academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Key Stage 1.
  • A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Year 2 SATS experience is desired but isn't a necessity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
