Job Overview:
As a Commercial CateringEngineerat Polaris Catering and Refrigeration Ltd, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' kitchens and contributing to our reputation for delivering top-notch service.
We provide flexibility within the role and are open to considering candidates with suitable experience for the position of a Commercial Catering and RefrigerationEngineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair a variety of commercial catering equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and dishwashers.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to understand their specific requirements and deliver customised solutions.
- Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and equipment specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial CateringEngineeror a similar role.
- Technical expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in catering equipmentengineering.
- CCN1, COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5 and Electrical Knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations as needed.
