Are you a passionate English teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary English teacher to start immediately on a long-term ongoing basis.
Our client is based in Dudley with an “good” Ofsted rating and has a great ethos and staff culture. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching English language and literature across KS3 and KS4.
As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:
- Teach English literature and language across KS3 and KS4.
- Planning, marking, and assessment required.
- Comply with the school behaviour policy.
- Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
- Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
Required skills and experience for the English Teacher role:
- Specialist in English
- Confident teaching English up to GCSE
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous school experience teaching Maths.
