This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager with a solid engineering background and a hands-on approach to promote a safety culture, drive team development, and improve asset reliability.As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of 4-5 Engineers, focusing on both technical and professional development. In addition to managing production assets, you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of site buildings and infrastructure, making this a multifaceted and impactful role. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing standardized ways of working, optimizing budgets, and ensuring asset reliability.Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Promote a robust safety culture, ensuring team compliance with health and safety standards and best practices.
  • Team Development & Upskilling: Evaluate the current skills within the team, identify training needs, and implement upskilling initiatives to promote continuous growth.
  • Asset & Infrastructure Reliability: Develop and oversee maintenance strategies to improve the reliability of production assets while managing site buildings and infrastructure.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize the maintenance budget to control costs while meeting financial goals.
  • Standardization: Enhance and standardize maintenance practices to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to equipment and infrastructure care.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve processes, aiming for operational excellence and reduced downtime.
Key Requirements
  • Qualifications: Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or higher) and IOSH certification are essential.
  • Experience: Proven track record in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, with experience in team leadership and asset management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical maintenance and familiarity with infrastructure maintenance.
