Job Summary
路Role: Finance Manager
路Location: Brigg, North Lincolnshire
路Reporting to: CFO Europe
路Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee plant finance functions, including accounting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.
路Support business decisions as a member of the site leadership team.
Specific Responsibilities
路Leadership: Support the Plant Manager in daily operations and management.
路Financial Data: Provide routine and proactive financial data to support business operations.
路Advisory Services: Offer analytical, interpretive, investigative, and advisory services on business and commercial impacts.
路Accounting Integrity: Ensure the accounting function adheres to generally accepted accounting principles and board policies.
路Records Maintenance: Maintain ledgers, records, and books of accounts to meet company and governmental requirements.
路Audit Liaison: Work with auditors to complete year-end statutory accounts timely and accurately.
路Tax Compliance: Collaborate with third-party advisors for timely and accurate tax return filings.
路Budgeting and Forecasting: Establish annual budgets, monthly accounts, and weekly forecasts.
路Payroll Support: Facilitate the payroll process, acting as a key link between site team members and the offsite payroll team.
路KPI Monitoring: Develop and maintain programs to monitor and control departmental KPIs and budgets.
路Internal Controls: Maintain adequate internal controls.
路Capital Expenditure: Assist in preparing and reviewing project requests for capital expenditure.
路Product Cost Understanding: Develop an understanding of product costs and provide insights into product and customer profitability.
路Project Management: Manage any other projects or tasks as requested by the CFO or Plant Manager.
Position Requirements
路Education: Professional Accountancy Qualification
路Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role with essential cost accounting experience
