The Role

We are looking for a hard working and dedicated operator to join our growing team. You will be required to perform specific tasks in the manufacturing process: collecting ingredients, weighing, blending, mixing and ensure hygiene & quality standards are maintained in a safe and organised production process. Individuals have to ensure there is sufficient material available to aid running the line and communicate any issues to the Line Manager. You must be able to work on your own initiative, work well as a team and maintain product quality, safety and efficiency. You will also be flexible to move around the business as and when required. You will be trained in all processes of manufacturing.

In further detail, your key duties and responsibilities will be:

To work safely and follow all Health & Safety procedures

To be quality aware

To adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice

To communicate effectively

To work effectively as an individual and as part of a team

To achieve the daily production plan as agreed with the production team leader

To contribute to the profitability of the company

You will receive training in:

Food Safety & Quality

HACCP

Food Safety qualification

Fork Lift training

Manual Handling

Production training on a range of food production machines

*The role involves lifting of ingredient sacks and boxes up to 25kg so you should be physically capable to fulfil these tasks.

Based in Elsham, North Lincolnshire and within travelling distance of Brigg, Scunthorpe, Barton-upon-Humber & Grimsby. You will require your own transport.
