JHE & Partners are excited to be working with an award winning, national business as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner. If you are an experienced Accountant with excellent stakeholder management skills, looking to work for an interesting and growing business, I would be keen to have an initial conversation with you asap.

The Job

The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team across the north of England and Scotland, supporting multiple sites through the provision provision of useful MI and analysis to influence commercial decision making. With a focus on improving efficiencies and process improvement, this is an opportunity to have a real impact.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Operations teams, providing insight to ensure they meet their financial objectives
  • Supporting Operations teams to drive performance, identifying trends, opportunities and efficiences
  • Improve visibility of financial, commercial and operational performance
  • Propose and implement new KPI's that will help drive performance
  • Reporting of financial performance with necessary commentary for business units
  • Ownership of budget process for specific area

Applicants will be:

  • Qualified or have a proven track record in a similar role
  • Have the ability to communicate and build excellent working relationships with non-finance colleagues
  • Have strong leadership, influencing and coaching skills
  • Possess a strong commercial awareness
