A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Accountant to join a growing firm based in Brighouse.
The role involves preparing statutory year-end accounts, bookkeeping, and tax return submissions for various clients.
Candidates should have experience as a Senior Accountant in practice and ideally be AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
The position offers a salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum and requires relevant experience in accounting software like Iris, Xero, and QuickBooks.

Fantastic opportunity for Senior Accountant to join a growing firm based in Brighouse. This independent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients, from audit, accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Book-keeping and management accounts preparation
Preparing and submitting self-assessment & partnership tax returns, and VAT returns.
Liaising with clients.
Supporting and guiding less experienced staff.

To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following:

Experience of Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage would be beneficial.
Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Audit experience would also be preferable.
AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
Experience working as a Senior Accountant in Practice.
