Class 1 Driver

Here at our Nutmeg site in Brighouse, we are looking for Class 1 Driver’s to join our team. You’ll be working any 6 days from Sunday to Thursday, 4 x 12 hour shifts per week with a start time between 16:00 – 18:00

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll receive:

• An hourly pay rate of £15.15 per hour + £1.09 per hour from 22:00-06:00, overtime rate £17.58

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• To trunk goods to and from client destination in appropriate vehicle as assigned by the Company
• Where required, to unload goods at client base
• To ensure accuracy to delivery by checking documentation
• To comply with all instructions provided by the Company in respect of delivery of goods and entry to customer premises
• All roles require shunting

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 3 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
