We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances while operating a 18t Curtain Sider, 18t Box Rigid or 3.5t Box van. This is a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the safety of our cargo. This role will involve nights out away from base when required.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Safely drive trucks and vans to transport goods to various destinations
- Load and unload cargo
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Follow all state and federal driving regulations
Required Skills and Experience Include:
- Commercial driving experience is required
- Proficient in driving and maneuvering large vehicles
- Familiarity with trucks and vans and securing cargo
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
