A national multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy have began their recruitment drive within their Rail Infrastructure team. They are looking for 15 new members of staff to join the team that is based Nationally and assist with the delivery of a variety of schemes.

You will be given the opportunity to work on schemes such as Station Upgrades, Platform Extensions, Bridge Structures and much more! I will be your role as a Senior Rail Engineer to take a leading position in the design team. You will need to offer expertise and leadership to the Graduates and technicians whilst getting the training and client liaison experience alongside the Principal engineers.

As a Senior you could be placed in any of their 7 offices that are spready across England & Scotland.

Senior Rail Engineer Requirements

  • Conversant with Network Rail Company Standards and Railway Group Standards.
  • Working knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
  • Depending on discipline; The ability to use industry standard computer software.
  • PTS & DCCR certification preferred. Training will be given to the right candidate if required. Competencies:
  • Willingness to work occasional weekend and night shifts for the purpose of surveys and inspections.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage own projects and resources within agreed time scales.
  • Ability to manage the workload of your team including graduate engineers and technicians.
  • Have a commercial understanding of fee management.
