This role involves working on a twin pallet horizontal machining centre, with Fanuc control systems
Responsibilities- Produce components to given engineering drawings.
- Check issued material against production order requirements.
- Set up all required jaws and tooling on CNC machines.
- Identify existing programmes or create new ones as needed.
- Perform turning, drilling, or milling operations.
- Self-inspect completed components.
- Assist on alternate machines and at the inspection bench when needed.
- Stamp and deburr components.
- Update KBS boards and participate in KBS events and training.
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with twin pallet horizontal machining centres.
- Knowledge of Fanuc control systems programming preferred.
- Understanding of slinging, lifting, and manual handling.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Health and safety awareness.
