They are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing debts and ensuring timely payments from customers. Duties- Conduct credit checks on new customers- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity- Negotiate payment plans with customers- Handle customer queries regarding outstanding invoices- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies- Analyse financial data to identify credit risks- Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve payment issues ExperienceThe successful candidate should possess the following skills:- Experience in credit control or a similar financial role- Proficiency in accounting software and data entry- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills- Knowledge of financial services and telemarketing techniques This is a permanent position offering a salary of £28,000-£30,000 and is fully office-based working for a small close-knit team.
